My amazing Sucre Vanillé alsa®: my secret for a touch of indulgence The Sucre Vanillé alsa® with natural vanilla extract adds a delicious aroma to all desserts, cakes, tarts, as well as yogurts and cottage cheese. Recipe idea: Floating Island INGREDIENTS: • 1 sachet of preparation for Crème Anglaise à la Vanille des Isles alsa® • 1 sachet of Sucre Vanillé alsa® • 50 cl of milk • 6 eggs • 100 g of sugar • 1 tablespoon of oil • 1 pinch of salt RECIPE PREPARATION: 1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (Th.5). Prepare the Crème Anglaise alsa® by following the instructions on the package. Keep it chilled. 2. Separate the egg whites and yolks of the 6 eggs. Beat the egg whites until very firm, adding a pinch of salt and a sachet of Sucre Vanillé alsa®. 3. Gently pour the beaten egg whites into ramekins greased with a bit of oil or silicone molds and bake in a water bath for 30 minutes, until the tops start to turn golden. Carefully unmold onto the cooled crème anglaise. 4. Chill the floating island until ready to serve. 5. Before serving, pour the sugar into a small pan and heat until a light caramel forms. Drizzle it directly over the floating islands in a laced pattern. Alsa® tip: For quick cooking, you can place the egg whites in the microwave at 350 W for 1 min. If needed, continue in 20-second increments until the desired cooking is achieved.
